26 Mar 2007After a month of beating around the bush–and no less than three “shocking” Entertainment tonight interviews where he revealed that he couldn’t reveal anything–the coroner in the Anna Nicole death case has finally revealed that she died of an accidental drug overdose. Shocker.
She was being prescribed enough medication to tranquilize and Elephant. Of course, it escalated in the months following her son’s passing, but the irony, of course, is that he too died of a lethal combination of drugs. Though the official inquest into his death doesn’t start until this week….
I can’t help think- yet again- how the legal system’s due process seems to include an absurd amount of waiting time. Granted, you don’t want them to move so fast that they overlook things… But a month to disclose that she died of an overdose? Anyone who’s seen footage of this woman before she died can clearly see she’s sedated- to the point where she slurs every second word.
And don’t get me started on the paternity issue for baby Daniellynn. She’s going to be 21 by the time her paternity is established.
Just take a q-tip and swab the kid’s mouth!
I can’t help thinking back to a poignant screen in the eighties film classic Back to The Future part II:
Marty (reading the paper): “Within two hours of his arrest, he was tried and convicted – within two hours?”
Doc: “Yes. The justice system moves quickly in the future since they’ve abolished all lawyers.”
Maybe it’s not such a bad idea………
