It was a crazy ANTM final, with the crown going to the Latina spitfire Jaslene. After Renee was ousted on the first half of the show for “looking too old”, it came down to Jaslene and Russian mail order bride Natasha.
Was it fair to drag Renee all the way into the final round just to tell her- yet again- that she looks over the hill at twenty? If they had a problem with her look, they should have cut her early. After all, that’s not exactly something she can work on, like her runway walk. My ANTM crew was shocked to see her ousted, especially since she only looks old because of the 40-year-old-housewife haircut they gave her on the show.
While Natasha was sweet, I can’t imagine them hiring a cover girl model that has so much trouble with her English. Though her bubbly outlook is refreshing, there’s just something a bit off about Natasha.
So, it’s Jaslene, the Illinois native who’s “never been nowhere except the hood and around the corner” is America’s Next top Model. The story is particularly heartwarming because Jaslene tried out- and was cut- last year, before re-grouping, doing some soul searching (and therapy) and coming back to conquer the competition.

Alright, it’s time for some silly entertainment talk. You know you love it…

Our friends at Pop on the Pop posted a hilarious pic of Laura Cayouette wearing what appears to be a grey glad garbage bag.

First off, no, I don’t know who she is either.

And second, what the hell is that?

While most up and coming –oh, let’s just call them what they are: un-famous- actors try to get noticed by being fashionably dressed, there seems to be a far more effective way to get your picture published: Looking ridiculous. Chloe Sevigny has made an entire career out of showing up to red carpet events wearing hideous –but designer- duds.

I don’t care how hot you are, showing that much skin just isn’t sexy; it’s skanky. And the outfit looks like a large piece of grey fabric held together by nails. Maybe the designer ran out of thread and had to pull the outfit together by using a ceiling fan pull sting?

If you’re going to be in the public eye, you need to avoid doing a few things in public:
A) Being Drunk
B) Getting depressed and shaving your head in a cheap barbershop
C) Dressing like you just rolled out of bed after a night at a crack house.

Being well dressed was just one of the important lessons Tyra took on as mentor on America’s Next Top Model this week. We also learned about dressing up, cross-dressing and Russian Mail order Brides!

Last night at my weekly ANTM Meeting – a gathering of an anonymous group of girls who want to watch and discuss America’s Next Top Model- we were all delighted to see Diana sent packing. Just because a girl is plus sized, doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be stunning. And Diana was bland, and frankly, not that pretty.

If Tyra really wants to succeed in her “dream” of having two plus-sized models in the finals, she needs to make a critical change: she needs to start picking HOT plus sized models.

They do exist. Just look at Mia Tyler.

TMZ has posted a hilarious war of words between Lily Tomlin and her I Heart Huckabees director.

Rumor has it that George Clooney leaked the footage, though he denies these claims. Why on earth would George Clooney leak this footage? Was he even IN that movie?

Anyway, this is like reality TV, only better, because there’s swearing. Though reality TV is getting pretty crazy these days…. As is always the case, truth is simply stranger than fiction.

John Travolta gave an interview to Scottish Daily where he talked about the possibility of having another kid with wife Kelly Preston: “We’re not pregnant yet, but we’re planning to start trying this summer.”

I can’t help wondering if that’s just a polite way of saying: “Since I put on weight, Kelly really doesn’t let me have sex with her anymore. But she knows her biological clock is ticking, so if I promise to get her drunk first, she may let me do her this summer.”
