I think this is just one symptom of larger malaise that has afflicted the USA, and to a lessen extent Canada, for the last ten years. There’s a certain segment of the population that has always been anti-intellectual, anti-woman, and anti-modernity, which lately has felt the urge to drag the rest of us down to their level.

I have a friend whose uncle got the shot and was dead 4 days later from pneumonia… Yeah, untested vaccines: great idea!

Besides, Google “h1n1 666″ and see what comes up. It’s enough to give even Scully the heebie-jeebies.

That’s frakking awful. True, more awful to actually have the virus, but to be hospitalized for taking the vaccine…

Oddly, Uzema also suffers from asthma, and received the shot weeks ago. But aside from a sore arm, she didn’t experience any flu-like symptoms.
